In 1932, famous aviator Charles Lindbergh and his wife Anne suffered a great tragedy when their 2-year-old son’s body was found 72 days after being kidnapped from their home.

Today, Brittany is taking us through a recent case, the untimely death of Kim Wall. A freelance Danish journalist, Kim who was tragically murdered inside of a submerged submarine while conducting an interview with Peter Madsen for an article.

At the end of the Roaring Twenties, New Orleans was rocked by one of the grizzliest murder scenes the city had ever seen. 715 Ursulines Avenue was the home of the Moity brothers, their wives, and children. They had been drawn to the city by the call of promise and opportunity, but the move wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. It wasn’t long before the families fell apart in the most dramatic way possible: a double homicide.

In October of 2009, 20-year-old Morgan Harrington disappeared after attending a Metallica concert in Charlottesville. Fast forward to September 2014 and the story repeats itself with 18-year-old Hannah Graham who went missing after leaving a party. It wasn’t long before security footage revealed these two young women had something in common: the last person who saw them alive.

When a group of students from a rural college in Guerrero, Mexico, attempted to find transportation to a protest, their arrival in nearby Iguala was not received well. Confronted by police, students and civilians were fired upon, killing 6 and injuring 25. Most egregious of all, 43 students were forcibly disappeared with hardly a trace.

Today, Brittany takes us through a deep dive of the world’s largest known open-air graveyard, better known as Mount Everest. Since it was first summited in 1953, there have been over 200 deaths.

Emanuela went missing in the early 1980’s, and has not been found or seen since. The Orlandi family still hold out hope that they will someday find out what happened to their daughter, especially Pietro, her older brother.

In the Spring of 2005, 18-year-old Natalee Holloway was on a high school graduation trip to Aruba in the Caribbean. Early on the morning of May 30th, 2005, Natalee vanished without a trace. Her remains have never been found.

On June 28th, 1980, 18-year-old Gina Renee Hall went on a night out and was never seen again. The last person to see her alive was Stephen Epperly, a 28-year-old former football player from Virginia Tech. Evidence of foul play emerged in the days following her disappearance, but no body was ever found. In an unprecedented move, Commonwealth Attorney Everett Shockley charged Epperly with first-degree murder.
